ا إِنَّ النَّاسَ لَمَّا كَذَّبُوا بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ (صلى الله عليه وآله) هَمَّ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَ تَعَالَى بِهَلَاكِ أَهْلِ الْأَرْضِ إِلَّا عَلِيّاً فَمَا سِوَاهُ بِقَوْلِهِ فَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ فَما أَنْتَ بِمَلُومٍ ثُمَّ بَدَا لَهُ فَرَحِمَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ثُمَّ قَالَ لِنَبِيِّهِ (صلى الله عليه وآله) وَ ذَكِّرْ فَإِنَّ الذِّكْرى تَنْفَعُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ.
Translation
<a id="_Toc492473188">H 14526</a> – And by this chain, from Abaan, from Abu Baseer, who has said: <span class="first-chapter-phrase"><span class="first-in-chapter character-a">A</span>bu Ja’far</span><sup>asws</sup> and Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, that the two of them<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘When the people belied the Rasool<sup>saww</sup> Allah<sup>azwj</sup>, Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Blessed and High Decided to Destroy the people of the earth except for Ali<sup>asws</sup> and no one else by His<sup>azwj</sup> Statement: <span class="ibTxt">“<a href="/#/books/quran:51#h54"><a href="/books/quran:51#h54">[51:54]</a></a> Then turn your back upon them for you are not to blame”</span>. Then Changed it for them so He<sup>azwj</sup> was Merciful to the Believers. Then He<sup>azwj</sup> Said to His<sup>azwj</sup> Prophet<sup>saww</sup>: <span class="ibTxt">“<a href="/#/books/quran:51#h55"><a href="/books/quran:51#h55">[51:55]</a></a> And continue to remind, for surely the reminder profits the believers”</span>.
