اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ صِبْغَةَ اللَّهِ وَ مَنْ أَحْسَنُ مِنَ اللَّهِ صِبْغَةً قَالَ الصِّبْغَةُ هِيَ الْإِسْلَامُ وَ قَالَ فِي قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ فَمَنْ يَكْفُرْ بِالطَّاغُوتِ وَ يُؤْمِنْ بِاللَّهِ فَقَدِ اسْتَمْسَكَ بِالْعُرْوَةِ الْوُثْقى قَالَ هِيَ الْإِيمَانُ .

حمید بن زیاد نے حسن بن محمد بن سماعہ سے، انہوں نے ایک سے زائد افراد سے، انہوں نے ابان سے، انہوں نے محمد بن مسلم سے، انہوں نے ان دونوں (اماموں) علیہما السلام میں سے ایک سے روایت کی: اللہ عزّ و جلّ کے ارشاد ''اللہ کا رنگ (قبول کرو)؛ اور اللہ سے بہتر رنگنے والا کون ہے؟'' کے بارے میں آپ نے فرمایا: ''صبغہ — وہ اسلام ہے۔'' اور فرمایا اللہ عزّ و جلّ کے ارشاد کے بارے میں: ''پس جو کوئی طاغوت کا انکار کرے اور اللہ پر ایمان لائے، تو یقیناً اس نے عروۃ الوثقیٰ کو تھام لیا۔'' فرمایا: ''وہ ایمان ہے۔''
Translation
Humeyd Bin Ziyad, from Al Hassan Bin Muhammad Bin Sama’at, from someone else, from Aban, from Muhammad Bin Muslim, (It has been narrated) from one of the two (5<sup>th</sup> or 6<sup>th</sup> Imam<sup>asws</sup>) regarding the Words of Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:2#h138"><a href="/books/quran:2#h138">[2:138]</a></a> A Dyeing of Allah, and who is better than Allah in dyeing?</span> He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘The dyeing, it is Al-<span class="iTxt">Islām</span>’. And he<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> said regarding the Words of the Mighty and Majestic <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:2#h256"><a href="/books/quran:2#h256">[2:256]</a></a> whoever disbelieves in the tyrant and believes in Allah he indeed has grabbed hold on the Firmest Handle</span>. He<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> said: ‘It is Al-<span class="iTxt">Islām</span>’.
