سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) عَنْ قَوْلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ قالَتِ الْأَعْرابُ آمَنَّا قُلْ لَمْ تُؤْمِنُوا وَ لكِنْ قُولُوا أَسْلَمْنا وَ لَمَّا يَدْخُلِ الْإِيمانُ فِي قُلُوبِكُمْ فَقَالَ لِي أَ لَا تَرَى أَنَّ الْإِيمَانَ غَيْرُ الْإِسْلَامِ .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from Muhammad Bin Isa, from Yunus, from Jameel Bin Darraj who said, ‘I asked Abu Abdullah<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> about the Words of Allah<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:49#h14"><a href="/books/quran:49#h14">[49:14]</a></a> The Bedouins say: We believe. Say: You do not believe but say, We are Muslims; and Emān (belief) has not yet entered into your hearts</span>. So he<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> said to me: ‘Do you not see that the <span class="iTxt">Emān</span> (faith) is other than <span class="iTxt">Al-Islām</span>?’
