قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ( عليه السلام ) إِنَّ قُلُوبَ الْجُهَّالِ تَسْتَفِزُّهَا الْأَطْمَاعُ وَ تَرْتَهِنُهَا الْمُنَى وَ تَسْتَعْلِقُهَا الْخَدَائِعُ .

علی بن محمد نے سہل بن زیاد سے، انہوں نے نوفلی سے، انہوں نے سکونی سے، انہوں نے جعفر سے، انہوں نے اپنے والد علیہ السلام سے روایت کی کہ: امیر المومنین علیہ السلام نے فرمایا: بے شک جاہلوں کے دل طمع و لالچ کی وجہ سے بھڑک اٹھتے ہیں، آرزوئیں انہیں گروی رکھ لیتی ہیں، اور فریب انہیں اپنی گرفت میں جکڑ لیتے ہیں۔
Translation
Ali Bin Muhammad, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Al Nowfaly, from Al Sakuny, (It has been narrated) from Ja’far<sup>asws</sup>, from his<sup>asws</sup> father<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Amir Al-Momineen<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘The hearts of the ignorant ones trigger the greed, and the yearnings hold them hostage, and the deceptions attach to them’.
