مَا كَلَّمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) الْعِبَادَ بِكُنْهِ عَقْلِهِ قَطُّ وَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) إِنَّا مَعَاشِرَ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ أُمِرْنَا أَنْ نُكَلِّمَ النَّاسَ عَلَى قَدْرِ عُقُولِهِمْ .

ہمارے اصحاب کی ایک جماعت نے احمد بن محمد بن عیسیٰ سے، انہوں نے حسن بن علی بن فضال سے، انہوں نے ہمارے بعض اصحاب سے، انہوں نے ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت کی کہ آپ نے فرمایا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ نے کبھی بھی اپنی عقل کی پوری گہرائی کے ساتھ بندوں سے بات نہیں کی۔ اور آپ نے فرمایا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ نے فرمایا: بے شک ہم انبیاء کی جماعت کو حکم دیا گیا ہے کہ ہم لوگوں سے ان کی عقلوں کے مطابق بات کریں۔
Translation
A group of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Isa, from Al Hassan Bin Ali Bin Fazzal, from one of our companions, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> never spoke with the people with full power of his<sup>saww</sup> intellect at all’. And he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> said: ‘We<sup>as</sup>, the group of Prophets<sup>as</sup>, have been Commanded that we<sup>as</sup> speak to the people in accordance to their intellects’’.
