وَعَظَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) فَأَمَرَ وَ زَهَّدَ ثُمَّ قَالَ عَلَيْكُمْ بِالْوَرَعِ فَإِنَّهُ لَا يُنَالُ مَا عِنْدَ اللَّهِ إِلَّا بِالْوَرَعِ .
Translation
Abu Ali Al Ashary, from Muhammad Bin Abdul Jabbar, from Safwan Bin yahya, from Yazed Bin Khalifa who said, ‘Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> advised us and instructed with the ascetism. Then he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Upon you is the devoutness, for whatever is in the Presence of Allah<sup>azwj</sup> cannot be attained except with the devoutness’.
