لَا يَنْفَعُ اجْتِهَادٌ لَا وَرَعَ فِيهِ .
Translation
A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Khalid, from Ibn Fazzal, from Abu Jameela, from Ibn Abu Yafour, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘The striving would not benefit if there is no devoutness in it’.
