مُرُوَّةُ الصَّبْرِ فِي حَالِ الْحَاجَةِ وَ الْفَاقَةِ وَ التَّعَفُّفِ وَ الْغِنَى أَكْثَرُ مِنْ مُرُوَّةِ الْإِعْطَاءِ .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, and Ali Bin Muhammad Al Qasany, from Al Qasim Bin Muhammad, from Suleyman Bin Dawood, from Yahya Bin Adam, from Shareek, from Jabir Bin Yazeed, (It has been narrated) from Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Magnanimity of exercising the patience during a state of need, and the destitution, and the abstinence, and the riches, is more than the magnanimity (regarding) the giving (charity etc.)’.
