قَالَ لِي مَا أَنْعَمَ اللَّهُ عَلَى عَبْدٍ بِنِعْمَةٍ صَغُرَتْ أَوْ كَبُرَتْ فَقَالَ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ إِلَّا أَدَّى شُكْرَهَا .
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad, from Ali Bin Al Hakam, from Safwan Al Jammal, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, said, ‘He<sup>asws</sup> said to me: ‘Whatever Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Favours upon a servant with a Bounty, be it small or large, so he says, ‘The Praise is for Allah<sup>azwj</sup>’, except that he would have paid its gratitude’.
