Al-Kafi 1747

Translation

Al Husayn Bin Muhammad, from Moalla Bin Muhammad, from Al Washa, from Hammad Bin Usman who said, ‘Abu Abdullah<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> went out from the Masjid and he<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> had lost his<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> (riding) animal. So he<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> said: ‘If Allah<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup> were to Return it to me<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup>, I<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> will thank Allah<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup> as it is a right of thanking Him<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup>’. He (the narrator) said, ‘So, it wasn’t long before they came with it. So he<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> said: ‘The Praise is for Allah<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup>’. So a sayer said to him<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup>, ‘May I be sacrificed for you<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup>! Did you<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> not say, ‘I<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> will thank Allah<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup> as it is a right of thanking Him<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup>’?’ So Abu Abdullah<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> said: ‘Did you not listen to me<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> saying: ‘The Praise is for Allah<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup>’?’
