قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) عَلَيْكُمْ بِالْعَفْوِ فَإِنَّ الْعَفْوَ لَا يَزِيدُ الْعَبْدَ إِلَّا عِزّاً فَتَعَافَوْا يُعِزَّكُمُ اللَّهُ .
Translation
A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Khalid, from Jahm Bin Al Hakam Al Madainy, from Ismail Bin Abu Ziyad Al Sakuny, (It has been narrated)from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> said: ‘It is upon you with the pardoning, for the pardoning does not increase the servant (with anything) except for honour, therefore pardon, Allah<sup>azwj</sup> will Honour you’.
