قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ كَظَمَ غَيْظاً إِلَّا زَادَهُ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ عِزّاً فِي الدُّنْيَا وَ الْآخِرَةِ وَ قَدْ قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ وَ الْكاظِمِينَ الْغَيْظَ وَ الْعافِينَ عَنِ النَّاسِ وَ اللَّهُ يُحِبُّ الْمُحْسِنِينَ وَ أَثَابَهُ اللَّهُ مَكَانَ غَيْظِهِ ذَلِكَ .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from one of his companions, from Malik Bin Husayn Al Sakuny who said, ‘Abu Abdullah<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> said: ‘There is none form a servant who suppresses anger except that Allah<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic Increases him with honour in the world and the Hereafter; and Allah<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic Said <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:3#h134"><a href="/books/quran:3#h134">[3:134]</a></a> and those who restrain (their) anger and pardon the people; and Allah Loves the doers of good (to others)</span>, and Allah<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup> would Reward him in place of that anger’.
