John Shaqi

حَدَّثَنِي مَنْ سَمِعَ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) يَقُولُ مَنْ كَظَمَ غَيْظاً وَ لَوْ شَاءَ أَنْ يُمْضِيَهُ أَمْضَاهُ أَمْلَأَ اللَّهُ قَلْبَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ رِضَاهُ .


Translation

A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Khalid, from Ismail Bin Mihran, from Sayf Bin Ameyra who said, ‘It was narrated to me by the one who heard Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> saying: ‘The one who suppresses anger, and (even though) had he so desired to he could have continued it (his anger), Allah<sup>azwj</sup> would Fill his heart on the Day of Judgement with His<sup>azwj</sup> Pleasure’.
