سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) يَقُولُ قَدْ وَلَدَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) وَ أَنَا أَعْلَمُ كِتَابَ اللَّهِ وَ فِيهِ بَدْءُ الْخَلْقِ وَ مَا هُوَ كَائِنٌ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ وَ فِيهِ خَبَرُ السَّمَاءِ وَ خَبَرُ الْأَرْضِ وَ خَبَرُ الْجَنَّةِ وَ خَبَرُ النَّارِ وَ خَبَرُ مَا كَانَ وَ خَبَرُ مَا هُوَ كَائِنٌ أَعْلَمُ ذَلِكَ كَمَا أَنْظُرُ إِلَى كَفِّي إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَقُولُ فِيهِ تِبْيَانُ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ .

محمد بن یحییٰ سے، محمد بن عبدالجبار سے، ابن فضال سے، حماد بن عثمان سے، عبدالاعلیٰ بن اعین نے روایت کی: میں نے ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام کو فرماتے سنا: 'مجھے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ سے ولادت ملی، اور میں اللہ کی کتاب کو جانتا ہوں؛ اس میں خلق کی ابتداء ہے اور جو کچھ قیامت تک ہونے والا ہے، اس میں آسمان کی خبر ہے، زمین کی خبر، جنت کی خبر، آگ کی خبر، جو ہو چکا اس کی خبر اور جو ہونے والا ہے اس کی خبر۔ میں یہ سب اس طرح جانتا ہوں جیسے میں اپنی ہتھیلی دیکھتا ہوں۔ بے شک اللہ تعالیٰ فرماتا ہے: اس میں ہر چیز کا واضح بیان ہے۔ [النحل:89]
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Muhammad Bin Abdul Jabbar, from Ibn Fazzal, from Hammad Bin Usman, from Abdul A’ala Bin Ayn who said, ‘I heard Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> saying: ‘I<sup>asws</sup> born from (the children of) Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup>, and I<sup>asws</sup> know the Book of Allah<sup>azwj</sup>; and in it is the beginning of the creation, and what is going to happen up to the Day of Judgment, and therein is the news of the sky and news of the earth, and news of the Paradise, and news of the Fire, and news of what was, and news of what is to happen. I<sup>asws</sup> know all that just as I look at my<sup>asws</sup> own palm. Allah<sup>azwj</sup> is Saying ‘Therein is an explanation of everything”’.
