مَا مِنْ مُؤْمِنٍ إِلَّا وَ قَدْ وَكَّلَ اللَّهُ بِهِ أَرْبَعَةً شَيْطَاناً يُغْوِيهِ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يُضِلَّهُ وَ كَافِراً يَغْتَالُهُ وَ مُؤْمِناً يَحْسُدُهُ وَ هُوَ أَشَدُّهُمْ عَلَيْهِ وَ مُنَافِقاً يَتَتَبَّعُ عَثَرَاتِهِ .

علی بن ابراہیم، ان کے والد سے، ابن ابی عمیر سے، عبداللہ بن سنان سے، ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام سے، جنہوں نے فرمایا: کوئی مومن ایسا نہیں مگر یہ کہ اللہ نے اس پر چار شیطان مقرر کیے ہیں: ایک اسے بہکاتا ہے اور اسے گمراہ کرنا چاہتا ہے؛ اور ایک کافر جو اس پر حملہ کرتا ہے؛ اور ایک مومن جو اس سے حسد کرتا ہے—اور وہ ان سب میں اس کے لیے سب سے زیادہ سخت ہے؛ اور ایک منافق جو اس کی لغزشوں کا پیچھا کرتا ہے۔
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Abdullah Bin Sinan, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘There is none from a <span class="iTxt">Momin</span> except that Allah<sup>azwj</sup> has Allocated four Satans<sup>la</sup> with him, tempting him, intending to stray him; and a disbeliever fighting him, and a <span class="iTxt">Momin</span> envying him – and it is the most difficult upon him, and a hypocrite pursuing his tracks’.
