أَشَدُّ النَّاسِ بَلَاءً الْأَنْبِيَاءُ ثُمَّ الْأَوْصِيَاءُ ثُمَّ الْأَمَاثِلُ فَالْأَمَاثِلُ .

علی بن ابراہیم، ان کے والد سے، اور محمد بن اسماعیل، الفضل بن شاذان سے، سب مل کر حماد بن عیسیٰ سے، ربعی بن عبداللہ سے، فضیل بن یسار سے، ابو جعفر علیہ السلام سے روایت کرتے ہیں، جنہوں نے فرمایا: لوگوں میں سب سے زیادہ سخت آزمائش میں انبیاء علیہ السلام ہوتے ہیں، پھر اوصیاء علیہ السلام، پھر سب سے بہتر، اور پھر ان کے بعد والے بہتر لوگ۔
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father and Muhammad Bin Ismail, from Al Fazl Bin Shazaan, altogether from Hammad Bin Isa, from Rabi’e Bin Abdullah, from Fuzayl Bin Yasaar, (It has been narrated) from Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘The most severely afflicted of the people are the Prophets<sup>as</sup>, then the successors<sup>as</sup>, then the next most favourable, and the next most favourable’.
