إِنَّ لِلَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ عِبَاداً فِي الْأَرْضِ مِنْ خَالِصِ عِبَادِهِ مَا يُنْزِلُ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ تُحْفَةً إِلَى الْأَرْضِ إِلَّا صَرَفَهَا عَنْهُمْ إِلَى غَيْرِهِمْ وَ لَا بَلِيَّةً إِلَّا صَرَفَهَا إِلَيْهِمْ .
اردو
ہمارے بعض اصحاب نے، سهل بن زیاد سے، ابن محبوب سے، ابن ریعاب سے، ابو بصیر سے، ابو عبد الله علیہ السلام سے روایت کی، جنہوں نے فرمایا: بے شک اللہ عز و جل کے زمین پر اپنے مخلص بندوں میں سے کچھ بندے ہیں۔ آسمان سے زمین کی طرف کوئی نعمت نہیں اترتی مگر یہ کہ وہ اسے ان سے پھیر کر دوسروں کی طرف کر دیتا ہے، اور کوئی مصیبت نہیں اترتی مگر یہ کہ وہ اسے ان کی طرف پھیر دیتا ہے۔
Translation
A number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Ibn Mahboub, from Ibn Raib, from Abu Baseer, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘For Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic there are servants from the sincere ones of His<sup>azwj</sup> servants. No Gift descends from the sky to the earth except that He<sup>azwj</sup> Exchanges it from them (for it to go) to others, and no affliction (descends) except that He<sup>azwj</sup> Exchanges it (for it to go) to them’.
