محمد بن یحییٰ، محمد بن الحسین سے، صفوان سے، معاویہ بن عمار سے، ناجیہ سے، انہوں نے کہا: میں نے ابو جعفر (عليه السلام) سے کہا: “مغیرہ کہتا ہے کہ مومن کو نہ جذام ہوتا ہے، نہ برص، نہ ایسی اور ایسی چیز، نہ ایسی اور ایسی چیز۔” تو انہوں نے فرمایا: “پھر وہ یقیناً صاحبِ یٰسین سے غافل ہے؛ وہ ہاتھ سے معذور تھا۔” پھر انہوں نے اپنی انگلیاں سمیٹ لیں اور فرمایا: “گویا میں اس کی معذوری کو دیکھ رہا ہوں۔ وہ ان کے پاس آیا اور انہیں ڈرایا، پھر اگلے دن دوبارہ ان کے پاس آیا، تو انہوں نے اسے قتل کر دیا۔” پھر انہوں نے فرمایا: “بے شک مومن ہر آزمائش میں مبتلا ہو سکتا ہے اور ہر طرح کی موت مر سکتا ہے، مگر یہ کہ وہ خود کو قتل نہیں کرتا۔”

Translation

Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Muhammad Bin Al Husayn, from Safwan, from Muawiya Bin Ammar, from Najiya who said, ‘I said to Abu Ja’far^asws, ‘Al-Mugheira is saying that the <span class="iTxt">Momin</span> does not get afflicted by neither the leprosy nor by the vitiligo, nor by such and such’. So he^asws said: ‘It is as if he is oblivious from ‘Sahib Yaseen’ <a href="/#/books/quran:36#h20"><a href="/books/quran:36#h20">[36:20]</a></a>. He was of a paralytic hand’, then he^asws retracted his^asws fingers, and he^asws said: ‘It is as if I^asws am looking at his^asws paralysis. He went over to them and warned them. Then he repeated to them the next day, so they killed him’. Then he<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> said: ‘The <span class="iTxt">Momin</span> could be afflicted with every affliction and he could be dying with every death except that he would not kill himself’.
