كَانَ أَبِي ( عليه السلام ) يَقُولُ مَا مِنْ شَيْءٍ أَفْسَدَ لِلْقَلْبِ مِنْ خَطِيئَةٍ إِنَّ الْقَلْبَ لَيُوَاقِعُ الْخَطِيئَةَ فَمَا تَزَالُ بِهِ حَتَّى تَغْلِبَ عَلَيْهِ فَيُصَيِّرَ أَعْلَاهُ أَسْفَلَهُ .
اردو
محمد بن یحییٰ نے احمد بن محمد بن عیسیٰ سے، انہوں نے محمد بن سنان سے، انہوں نے طلحہ بن زید سے، انہوں نے ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت کی، جنہوں نے فرمایا: میرے والد علیہ السلام فرمایا کرتے تھے: گناہ سے بڑھ کر دل کو خراب کرنے والی کوئی چیز نہیں۔ بے شک دل گناہ کا ارتکاب کرتا ہے، پھر وہ اسی کے ساتھ لگا رہتا ہے یہاں تک کہ وہ اس پر غالب آ جاتا ہے، اور اس کے اوپر والے حصے کو اس کے نچلے حصے میں بدل دیتا ہے۔
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Isa, from Muhammad Bin Sinan, from Talha Bin Zayd, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘My<sup>asws</sup> father<sup>asws</sup> was saying: ‘There is none from the things which is more spoiling for the heart than a sin. If the heart falls for the sin, so it (the sin) does not cease to be with it until it overcomes it (the heart), and its upper part comes to be its lower’.
