دَخَلْتُ عَلَى أَبِي الْحَسَنِ ( عليه السلام ) فَقَالَ لِي إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَبَارَكَ وَ تَعَالَى أَيَّدَ الْمُؤْمِنَ بِرُوحٍ مِنْهُ تَحْضُرُهُ فِي كُلِّ وَقْتٍ يُحْسِنُ فِيهِ وَ يَتَّقِي وَ تَغِيبُ عَنْهُ فِي كُلِّ وَقْتٍ يُذْنِبُ فِيهِ وَ يَعْتَدِي فَهِيَ مَعَهُ تَهْتَزُّ سُرُوراً عِنْدَ إِحْسَانِهِ وَ تَسِيخُ فِي الثَّرَى عِنْدَ إِسَاءَتِهِ فَتَعَاهَدُوا عِبَادَ اللَّهِ نِعَمَهُ بِإِصْلَاحِكُمْ أَنْفُسَكُمْ تَزْدَادُوا يَقِيناً وَ تَرْبَحُوا نَفِيساً ثَمِيناً رَحِمَ اللَّهُ امْرَأً هَمَّ بِخَيْرٍ فَعَمِلَهُ أَوْ هَمَّ بِشَرٍّ فَارْتَدَعَ عَنْهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ نَحْنُ نُؤَيِّدُ الرُّوحَ بِالطَّاعَةِ لِلَّهِ وَ الْعَمَلِ لَهُ.

الحسین بن محمد اور محمد بن یحیی، دونوں نے مل کر، علی بن محمد بن سعد سے، محمد بن مسلم سے، ابو سلمہ سے، محمد بن سعید بن غزوان سے، ابن ابی نجران سے، محمد بن سنان سے، ابو خدیجہ سے روایت کی، جنہوں نے کہا: میں ابو الحسن عليه السلام کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا تو انہوں نے مجھ سے فرمایا: "بے شک اللہ، بابرکت اور بلند و برتر، نے مومن کی مدد اپنی طرف سے ایک روح کے ذریعے کی ہے۔ وہ ہر اس وقت اس کے ساتھ موجود رہتی ہے جس میں وہ نیکی کرتا ہے اور تقویٰ اختیار کرتا ہے، اور ہر اس وقت اس سے غائب ہو جاتی ہے جس میں وہ گناہ کرتا ہے اور زیادتی کرتا ہے۔ پس وہ اس کے ساتھ ہوتی ہے، اس کی نیکی پر خوشی سے لرزتی ہے، اور اس کی برائی پر زمین میں دھنس جاتی ہے۔" پس اے اللہ کے بندو، اپنی اصلاح کے ذریعے اس کی نعمتوں کی نگہداشت کرو؛ تم یقین میں اضافہ پاؤ گے اور ایک قیمتی اور گراں بہا نفع حاصل کرو گے۔ اللہ اس شخص پر رحم فرمائے جو بھلائی کا ارادہ کرے پھر اسے انجام دے، یا برائی کا ارادہ کرے پھر اس سے باز آ جائے۔ پھر انہوں نے فرمایا: "ہم روح کو اللہ کی اطاعت اور اس کے لیے عمل کے ذریعے مضبوط کرتے ہیں۔"
Translation
Al Husayn Bin Muhammad, and Muhammad Bin Yahya, altogether from Ali Bin Muhammad Bin Sa’ad, from Muhammad Bin Muslim, from Abu Salma, from Muhammad Bin Saeed Bin Gazwan, from Ibn Abu Najran, from Muhammad Bin Sinan, from Abu Khadeeja who said, ‘I went over to Abu Al-Hassan<sup>asws</sup>, and he<sup>asws</sup> said to me: ‘Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Blessed and High Aids the <span class="iTxt">Momin</span> with a spirit from Him<sup>azwj</sup>, cautioning him during every time he does a good deed in it, and it is absent from him during every time he sins in it and transgresses. So it is with him, vibrating joyfully during his good deeds and falling into the earth during his sinning. Therefore, make a pact for His<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup> Blessings, servants of Allah<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup>, by correcting yourselves, you will be increasing your conviction and you will be profiting by a good price. May Allah<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup> have Mercy upon a man who thinks of doing good, so he does it, or thinks of doing evil, but retracts from it’. Then said: We<sup style="font-weight: normal">asws</sup> assist the spirit by the obedience to Allah<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup> and working for Him<sup style="font-weight: normal">azwj</sup>’.
