إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيُذْنِبُ الذَّنْبَ فَيُدْرَأُ عَنْهُ الرِّزْقُ وَ تَلَا هَذِهِ الْآيَةَ إِذْ أَقْسَمُوا لَيَصْرِمُنَّها مُصْبِحِينَ وَ لا يَسْتَثْنُونَ فَطافَ عَلَيْها طائِفٌ مِنْ رَبِّكَ وَ هُمْ نائِمُونَ .

محمد بن یحیی، عبد اللہ بن محمد سے، علی بن الحکم سے، ابان بن عثمان سے، فضیل سے، ابو جعفر علیہ السلام سے روایت کرتے ہیں، جنہوں نے فرمایا: بے شک آدمی گناہ کرتا ہے، تو اس سے رزق روک دیا جاتا ہے۔ اور انہوں نے یہ آیت تلاوت فرمائی: جب انہوں نے قسم کھائی کہ وہ صبح ہوتے ہی اس کا پھل ضرور کاٹ لیں گے، اور انہوں نے کوئی استثناء نہ کیا؛ پھر آپ کے رب کی طرف سے ایک آفت اس پر آ پڑی جبکہ وہ سو رہے تھے۔
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Abdullah Bin Muhammad, from Ali Bin Al Hakam, from Aban Bin Usman, from Al Fuzayl, (It has been narrated) from Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘The man commits the sin so the sustenance is staved off from him’, and he<sup>asws</sup> recited this Verse <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:68#h17"><a href="/books/quran:68#h17">[68:17]</a></a> Surely We will try them as We tried the owners of the garden, when they swore that they would certainly cut off the produce in the morning, <a href="/#/books/quran:68#h18"><a href="/books/quran:68#h18">[68:18]</a></a> And they were not willing to set aside a portion <a href="/#/books/quran:68#h19"><a href="/books/quran:68#h19">[68:19]</a></a> Then there encompassed it a visitation from your Lord while they were sleeping</span>’.
