قَالَ سُئِلَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ ( عليه السلام ) عَنِ التَّوْحِيدِ فَقَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ عَلِمَ أَنَّهُ يَكُونُ فِي آخِرِ الزَّمَانِ أَقْوَامٌ مُتَعَمِّقُونَ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ وَ الْآيَاتِ مِنْ سُورَةِ الْحَدِيدِ إِلَى قَوْلِهِ وَ هُوَ عَلِيمٌ بِذاتِ الصُّدُورِ فَمَنْ رَامَ وَرَاءَ ذَلِكَ فَقَدْ هَلَكَ .

محمد بن یحییٰ نے احمد بن محمد سے، انہوں نے حسین بن سعید سے، انہوں نے نضر بن سوید سے، انہوں نے عاصم بن حمید سے روایت کی کہ: اس نے کہا: علی بن حسین علیہ السلام سے توحید کے بارے میں سوال کیا گیا، تو آپ نے فرمایا: بے شک اللہ عزوجل جانتا تھا کہ آخر الزمان میں ایسے اقوام ہوں گے جو گہری چھان بین کریں گے، تو اللہ تعالیٰ نے نازل فرمایا "قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ" (کہہ دو وہ اللہ ایک ہے) اور سورۃ الحدید کی آیات اس کے قول تک: "اور وہ سینوں میں جو ہے اسے جاننے والا ہے" پس جس نے اس سے آگے جانا چاہا وہ ہلاک ہوگیا۔
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Al Husayn Bin Saeed, from Al Nazar Bin Suweyd, from Aasim Bin Humeyd who said, ‘Ali<sup>asws</sup> Bin Al-Husayn<sup>asws</sup> was asked about the <span class="iTxt">Tawheed</span> (Oneness), so he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic Knows that there would happen to be a people at the end of times who would be investigating in depth. So Allah<sup>azwj</sup> the Exalted Revealed <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:112#h1"><a href="/books/quran:112#h1">[112:1]</a></a> Say: He Allah is One</span>, and the Verses from Surah Al-Hadeed (Chapter 57) up to His<sup>azwj</sup> Words <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:57#h6"><a href="/books/quran:57#h6">[57:6]</a></a>, and He is Aware of what is in the chests</span>. So whoever aims behind (any more than) that, so he is destroyed’.
