كَتَبْتُ إِلَيْهِ ( عليه السلام ) أَنَّ مَنْ قِبَلَنَا قَدِ اخْتَلَفُوا فِي التَّوْحِيدِ قَالَ فَكَتَبَ ( عليه السلام ) سُبْحَانَ مَنْ لَا يُحَدُّ وَ لَا يُوصَفُ لَيْسَ كَمِثْلِهِ شَيْءٌ وَ هُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْبَصِيرُ .

میں نے ان (علیہ السلام) کو لکھا کہ ہمارے یہاں لوگوں نے توحید میں اختلاف کیا ہے۔ فرمایا: تو انہوں نے (علیہ السلام) لکھا: پاک ہے وہ ذات جسے نہ محدود کیا جا سکتا ہے اور نہ بیان کیا جا سکتا ہے۔ اس جیسی کوئی چیز نہیں اور وہ سننے والا، دیکھنے والا ہے۔
Translation
Sahl, from Muhammad Bin Ali Al Qasany who said, ‘I wrote to him<sup>asws</sup> that the ones before us are differing regarding the <span class="iTxt">Tawheed</span> (Oneness). So he<sup>asws</sup> wrote: ‘Glorious is the One<sup>azwj</sup> Who cannot be limited, nor can He<sup>azwj</sup> be described. There is nothing like Him<sup>azwj</sup>, and He<sup>azwj</sup> is the Hearing, the Seeing’.
