سَمِعْتُهُ ( عليه السلام ) يَقُولُ الْمُسْتَتِرُ بِالْحَسَنَةِ يَعْدِلُ سَبْعِينَ حَسَنَةً وَ الْمُذِيعُ بِالسَّيِّئَةِ مَخْذُولٌ وَ الْمُسْتَتِرُ بِالسَّيِّئَةِ مَغْفُورٌ لَهُ .
Translation
A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Khalid, from Muhammad Bin Ali, (It has been narrated) from Al-Abbas, a slave of Al-Reza<sup>asws</sup> who said, ‘I heard him<sup>asws</sup> saying: ‘The veiling (hiding) of the good deed equates to seventy good deeds, and the broadcaster of the evil deeds is forsaken (condemned), and he would be Forgiven who hides his evil deeds (sins)’.
