John Shaqi

مَنْ كَانَ مُؤْمِناً فَعَمِلَ خَيْراً فِي إِيمَانِهِ ثُمَّ أَصَابَتْهُ فِتْنَةٌ فَكَفَرَ ثُمَّ تَابَ بَعْدَ كُفْرِهِ كُتِبَ لَهُ وَ حُوسِبَ بِكُلِّ شَيْ‏ءٍ كَانَ عَمِلَهُ فِي إِيمَانِهِ وَ لَا يُبْطِلُهُ الْكُفْرُ إِذَا تَابَ بَعْدَ كُفْرِهِ .


Translation

Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Mahboub and someone else, from Al A’ala Bin Razeyn, from Muhammad Bin Muslim, (It has been narrated) from Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘The one who was a <span class="iTxt">Momin</span> and he does good during his <span class="iTxt">Emān</span>, then strife hits him, so he disbelieves, then repents after his disbelief (<span class="iTxt">Kufr</span>), it would be Written for him, and he would be Reckoned with everything which he had done during his <span class="iTxt">Emān</span>, and the <span class="iTxt">Kufr</span> (disbelief) would not invalidate it, when he did repent after his <span class="iTxt">Kufr</span> (disbelief)’.
