John Shaqi

قَالَ مُوسَى لِلْخَضِرِ ( عليه السلام ) قَدْ تَحَرَّمْتُ بِصُحْبَتِكَ فَأَوْصِنِي قَالَ لَهُ الْزَمْ مَا لَا يَضُرُّكَ مَعَهُ شَيْ‏ءٌ كَمَا لَا يَنْفَعُكَ مَعَ غَيْرِهِ شَيْ‏ءٌ .


Translation

From him, from Yunus, from one of his companions, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Musa<sup>as</sup> said to Al-Khizr<sup>as</sup>: ‘You have sanctified me<sup>as</sup> by your<sup>as</sup> company, therefore advise me<sup>as</sup>’. He<sup>as</sup> said to him<sup>as</sup>: ‘Necessitate (<span class="iTxt">Emān</span>) what would not harm you<sup>as</sup> anything along with it, just as it would not benefit you<sup>as</sup> anything along with other than it’.
