سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) يَقُولُ لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ الْإِيمَانِ عَمَلٌ وَ لَا يَنْفَعُ مَعَ الْكُفْرِ عَمَلٌ أَ لَا تَرَى أَنَّهُ قَالَ وَ ما مَنَعَهُمْ أَنْ تُقْبَلَ مِنْهُمْ نَفَقاتُهُمْ إِلَّا أَنَّهُمْ كَفَرُوا بِاللَّهِ وَ بِرَسُولِهِ وَ مَاتُوا وَ هُمْ كَافِرُونَ .
Translation
From him, from Yunus, from Ibn Bukeyr, from Abu Ameyt Yusuf Bin Sabit who said, ‘I heard Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> saying: ‘Along with <span class="iTxt">Emān</span>, no deed would harm you, nor would a deed benefit you along with <span class="iTxt">Kufr</span> (disbelief). Do you not see that He<sup>azwj</sup> Said <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:9#h54"><a href="/books/quran:9#h54">[9:54]</a></a> And nothing hinders their spending being Accepted from them, except that they disbelieve in Allah and in His Rasool</span>, and they are dying while they are disbelievers (<span class="iTxt">Kafiroun</span>)’.
