قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) الدُّعَاءُ سِلَاحُ الْمُؤْمِنِ وَ عَمُودُ الدِّينِ وَ نُورُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَ الْأَرْضِ .

ہمارے بہت سے اصحاب نے احمد بن محمد بن خالد سے، انہوں نے اپنے والد سے، انہوں نے فضالہ بن ایوب سے، انہوں نے السکونی سے، انہوں نے ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت کی کہ آپ نے فرمایا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ نے فرمایا: 'دعا مومن کا ہتھیار ہے، اور دین کا ستون ہے، اور آسمانوں اور زمین کا نور ہے۔'
Translation
A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Khalid, from his father, from Fazalat Bin Ayoub, from Al Sakuny, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> said: ‘The supplication is a weapon of the <span class="iTxt">Momin</span> and a pillar of the Religion, and a Light of the skies and the earth’.
