سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ إِنَّ الدُّعَاءَ يَرُدُّ الْقَضَاءَ يَنْقُضُهُ كَمَا يُنْقَضُ السِّلْكُ وَ قَدْ أُبْرِمَ إِبْرَاماً .

علی بن ابراہیم نے اپنے والد سے، انہوں نے ابن ابی عمیر سے، انہوں نے حماد بن عثمان سے روایت کی کہ انہوں نے کہا: میں نے انہیں (علیہ السلام) فرماتے ہوئے سنا: بے شک دعا قضاء کو رد کر دیتی ہے اور اسے اس طرح توڑ دیتی ہے جیسے دھاگے کو توڑا جاتا ہے، اگرچہ اسے مضبوطی سے بٹا گیا ہو۔
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Hammad Bin Usman who said, ‘I heard him<sup>asws</sup> saying: ‘The supplication repels the Ordainment and breaks it just as the rope does, and although it has been twirled and twisted (strong)’.
