كَانَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ ( عليه السلام ) يَقُولُ الدُّعَاءُ يَدْفَعُ الْبَلَاءَ النَّازِلَ وَ مَا لَمْ يَنْزِلْ .

ہمارے اصحاب کی ایک جماعت نے سہل بن زیاد سے، انہوں نے حسن بن علی الوشاء سے، انہوں نے ابو الحسن علیہ السلام سے روایت کی، وہ فرماتے تھے: علی بن الحسین علیہ السلام فرماتے تھے: 'دعا نازل ہونے والی اور ابھی نازل نہ ہونے والی بلا کو دور کر دیتی ہے۔'
Translation
A number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Al Hassan Bin Ali Al Washa, (It has been narrated) from Abu Al-Hassan<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Ali<sup>asws</sup> Bin Al-Husayn<sup>asws</sup> was saying: ‘The supplication repels the affliction, the descended one and what has not descended yet’.
