John Shaqi

مَا مِنْ قَطْرَةٍ أَحَبَّ إِلَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ مِنْ قَطْرَةِ دُمُوعٍ فِي سَوَادِ اللَّيْلِ مَخَافَةً مِنَ اللَّهِ لَا يُرَادُ بِهَا غَيْرُهُ .


Translation

From him, from Abdul Rahman Bin Abu Najran, from Musna Al Hannat, from Abu Hamza, (It has been narrated) from Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘There is none from a drop more Beloved to Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic than a tear drop shed in the darkness of the night fearing from Allah<sup>azwj</sup>, not intending anything else by it’.
