سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) عَنْ قَوْلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ السَّماواتِ وَ الْأَرْضَ السَّمَاوَاتُ وَ الْأَرْضُ وَسِعْنَ الْكُرْسِيَّ أَوِ الْكُرْسِيُّ وَسِعَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَ الْأَرْضَ فَقَالَ إِنَّ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ فِي الْكُرْسِيِّ .

میں نے ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام سے اللہ عزّ وجلّ کے اس قول کے بارے میں پوچھا: 'اس کی کرسی نے آسمانوں اور زمین کو گھیر رکھا ہے' — کیا آسمان اور زمین کرسی کو گھیرے ہوئے ہیں یا کرسی نے آسمانوں اور زمین کو گھیر رکھا ہے؟ تو آپ نے فرمایا: 'بے شک ہر چیز کرسی میں ہے۔'
Translation
Muhammad Bin yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Al Husayn Bin Saeed, from Fazalat Bin Ayoub, from Abdullah Bin Bukeyr, from Zurara Bin Ayn who said, ‘I asked Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> about the Words of Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:2#h255"><a href="/books/quran:2#h255">[2:255]</a></a> His Chair extends over the skies and the earth</span>, ‘Are the skies and the earth more extensive than the Chair (الْكُرْسِيِّ) or is the Chair (الْكُرْسِيِّ) more extensive than the skies and the earth?’. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Everything is in the Chair (الْكُرْسِيِّ)’.
