قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) إِنَّ الْعَزِيزَ الْجَبَّارَ أَنْزَلَ عَلَيْكُمْ كِتَابَهُ وَ هُوَ الصَّادِقُ الْبَارُّ فِيهِ خَبَرُكُمْ وَ خَبَرُ مَنْ قَبْلَكُمْ وَ خَبَرُ مَنْ بَعْدَكُمْ وَ خَبَرُ السَّمَاءِ وَ الْأَرْضِ وَ لَوْ أَتَاكُمْ مَنْ يُخْبِرُكُمْ عَنْ ذَلِكَ لَتَعَجَّبْتُمْ .

علی، اپنے والد سے، عبداللہ بن مغیرہ سے، سماعہ بن مہران سے، انہوں نے کہا: ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام نے فرمایا: 'بے شک عزیز و جبار نے اپنی کتاب تم پر نازل فرمائی، اور وہ سچی اور نیکوکار ہے۔ اس میں تمہاری خبر ہے، اور ان لوگوں کی خبر جو تم سے پہلے تھے، اور ان لوگوں کی خبر جو تمہارے بعد آئیں گے، اور آسمان و زمین کی خبر۔ اور اگر تمہارے پاس کوئی آتا جو تمہیں ان سب باتوں کی خبر دیتا، تو تم ضرور تعجب میں پڑ جاتے۔'
Translation
Ali, from his father, from Abdullah Bin Al Mugheira, from Sama’at Bin Mihran who said, ‘Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘The Mighty, the Compeller Sent down His<sup>azwj</sup> Book upon you all, and it is the truthful and righteous. Therein is your news, and the news of the ones before you, and news of the ones (to come) after you, and news of the sky and the earth. And if someone were to come to you informing you all about that, it would have astonished you all’.
