الْقُرْآنُ عَهْدُ اللَّهِ إِلَى خَلْقِهِ فَقَدْ يَنْبَغِي لِلْمَرْءِ الْمُسْلِمِ أَنْ يَنْظُرَ فِي عَهْدِهِ وَ أَنْ يَقْرَأَ مِنْهُ فِي كُلِّ يَوْمٍ خَمْسِينَ آيَةً .

علی نے اپنے والد سے، انہوں نے حماد سے، انہوں نے حریز سے، انہوں نے ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت کی کہ آپ نے فرمایا: قرآن اللہ کا اپنی مخلوق سے عہد ہے، پس مسلمان شخص کے لیے مناسب ہے کہ وہ اپنے عہد میں غور کرے اور ہر روز اس میں سے پچاس آیات کی تلاوت کرے۔
Translation
Ali, from his father, from Hammad, from Hareyz, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘The Quran is a Covenant of Allah<sup>azwj</sup> to His<sup>azwj</sup> creatures. Thus, it is befitting for the Muslim person that he looks into his covenant, and that he recites from it, during every day, fifty Verses’.
