قِرَاءَةُ الْقُرْآنِ فِي الْمُصْحَفِ تُخَفِّفُ الْعَذَابَ عَنِ الْوَالِدَيْنِ وَ لَوْ كَانَا كَافِرَيْنِ .

علی بن محمد، ابن جمہور سے، وہ محمد بن عمر بن مسعدہ سے، وہ الحسن بن راشد سے، وہ اپنے دادا سے، وہ ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ آپؑ نے فرمایا: 'مصحف میں قرآن کی تلاوت والدین سے عذاب کو ہلکا کرتی ہے، چاہے وہ دونوں کافر ہی کیوں نہ ہوں۔'
Translation
Ali Bin Muhammad, from Ibn Jamhour, from Muhammad Bin Umar Bin Mas’ada, from Al Hassan Bin Rashid, from his grandfather, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Recitation of the Quran in the Parchment would lighten the Punishment from the parents, and even if they were both disbelievers’.
