إِذَا كَانَ قَوْمٌ فِي مَجْلِسٍ ثُمَّ سَبَقَ قَوْمٌ فَدَخَلُوا فَعَلَى الدَّاخِلِ أَخِيراً إِذَا دَخَلَ أَنْ يُسَلِّمَ عَلَيْهِمْ .

محمد بن یحیی نے، احمد بن محمد سے، عمر بن عبد العزیز سے، جمیل سے، ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت کی، فرمایا: جب ایک جماعت کسی مجلس میں ہو، پھر دوسری جماعت آگے بڑھے اور داخل ہو، تو جو آخر میں داخل ہو اس پر واجب ہے کہ جب وہ داخل ہو تو انہیں سلام کرے۔
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Umar Bin Abdul Aziz, from Jameel, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘When a group enters into a gathering, then (another) group proceeds and enters, so it is upon the ones entering later, when they do enter, that they should greet (السَّلَامُ) upon them (the first one)’.
