سَمِعْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام ) يَقُولُ مِنَ الْأُمُورِ أُمُورٌ مَوْقُوفَةٌ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ يُقَدِّمُ مِنْهَا مَا يَشَاءُ وَ يُؤَخِّرُ مِنْهَا مَا يَشَاءُ .

اور اسی سند سے حماد سے، ربعی سے، فضیل سے جس نے کہا: میں نے ابو جعفر علیہ السلام کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا: 'معاملات میں سے کچھ معاملات اللہ کے پاس موقوف ہیں، وہ ان میں سے جو چاہتا ہے آگے کرتا ہے اور جو چاہتا ہے پیچھے کرتا ہے۔'
Translation
And, by this chain, from Hammad, from Rabie, from Al Fuzayl who said, ‘I heard Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> saying: ‘From the matters is a matter suspended in the Presence of Allah<sup>azwj</sup>. He<sup>azwj</sup> Brings forward from these whatever He<sup>azwj</sup> so Desires to, and Delays from these whatever He<sup>azwj</sup> so Desires to’.
