إِذَا كَانَ الْمَاءُ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ رَاوِيَةٍ لَمْ يُنَجِّسْهُ شَيْءٌ تَفَسَّخَ فِيهِ أَوْ لَمْ يَتَفَسَّخْ فِيهِ إِلَّا أَنْ يَجِيءَ لَهُ رِيحٌ يَغْلِبُ عَلَى رِيحِ الْمَاءِ .

علی بن ابراہیم نے اپنے والد سے روایت کی اور محمد بن اسماعیل نے الفضل بن شاذان سے، دونوں نے حماد بن عیسی سے، انہوں نے حریز سے، انہوں نے زرارہ سے روایت کی — کہا: جب پانی ایک راویہ سے زیادہ ہو، تو کوئی چیز اسے نجس نہیں کرتی — چاہے اس میں کوئی چیز گل سڑ جائے یا نہ گلے — سوائے اس کے کہ اس سے ایسی بو آئے جو پانی کی بو پر غالب آ جائے۔
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father and Muhammad Bin Ismail, from Al Fazl Bin Shazaan, altogether from Hammad Bin Isa, from Hareyz, from Zurara, ‘He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘When the water was more than a <span class="iTxt">Rawiya</span> (a camel load of water), nothing would pollute it, whether something has fallen into it or not fallen into it, except if a smell comes from it, taking over the smell of the water’.
