الْكُرُّ مِنَ الْمَاءِ أَلْفٌ وَ مِائَتَا رِطْلٍ .

احمد بن ادریس نے محمد بن احمد سے، انہوں نے یعقوب بن یزید سے، انہوں نے ابن ابی عمیر سے، انہوں نے ہمارے بعض اصحاب سے، انہوں نے ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت کی، آپ نے فرمایا: کُر پانی ایک ہزار دو سو رطل ہے۔
Translation
Ahmad Bin Idrees, from Muhammad Bin Ahmad, from Yaqoub Bin Yazeed, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from one of our companions, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘The <span class="iTxt">Kurr</span> from the water is of (the weight of) one thousand two hundred Ratls (one Ratl = approximately 400 gms)’.
