طِينِ الْمَطَرِ أَنَّهُ لَا بَأْسَ بِهِ أَنْ يُصِيبَ الثَّوْبَ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ إِلَّا أَنْ يُعْلَمَ أَنَّهُ قَدْ نَجَّسَهُ شَيْءٌ بَعْدَ الْمَطَرِ فَإِنْ أَصَابَهُ بَعْدَ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ فَاغْسِلْهُ وَ إِنْ كَانَ الطَّرِيقُ نَظِيفاً لَمْ تَغْسِلْهُ .

محمد بن یحییٰ نے احمد بن محمد سے، انہوں نے محمد بن اسماعیل سے، انہوں نے ہمارے بعض اصحاب سے، انہوں نے ابو الحسن علیہ السلام سے … کے بارے میں روایت کی بارش کی مٹی (کے بارے میں): کہ اس میں کوئی حرج نہیں کہ تین دن تک کپڑے کو لگے، سوائے اس کے کہ معلوم ہو کہ بارش کے بعد کسی چیز نے اسے ناپاک کر دیا ہو۔ پس اگر بارش کے تین دن بعد کپڑے کو لگے تو اسے دھو لو، اور اگر راستہ صاف تھا تو اسے نہ دھو۔
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Muhammad Bin Ismail, from one of our companions, (It has been narrated) from Abu Al Hassan<sup>asws</sup> regarding the clay of the rain, that there is no problem with it for three days if it hits the clothes, unless if one knows that something has impurified it after the rain. So if it is hit after three days (of rainfall), then wash it, and if the street was clean, do not wash it’.
