إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ شَيْءٌ فِيهِ قَبْضٌ أَوْ بَسْطٌ مِمَّا أَمَرَ اللَّهُ بِهِ أَوْ نَهَى عَنْهُ إِلَّا وَ فِيهِ لِلَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ ابْتِلَاءٌ وَ قَضَاءٌ .

ہمارے بہت سے اصحاب نے احمد بن محمد بن خالد سے، انہوں نے اپنے والد سے، انہوں نے فضالہ بن ایوب سے، انہوں نے حمزہ بن محمد الطیار سے، انہوں نے ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت کی کہ آپ نے فرمایا: بے شک کوئی ایسی چیز نہیں جس میں اللہ کے حکم یا ممانعت میں سے کوئی پابندی یا کشادگی ہو، مگر یہ کہ اس میں اللہ عزوجل کی طرف سے ایک آزمائش اور فیصلہ ہے۔
Translation
A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Khalid, from his father, from Fazalat Bin Ayoub, from Hamza Bin Muhammad Al Tayyar, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> havin said: ‘There is nothing wherein is either a constriction or an extension from what Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Commanded with or Forbade from, except therein, for Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic, is a Trial and an Ordainment’.
