قُلْتُ لِأَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام ) يُصَلِّي الرَّجُلُ بِوُضُوءٍ وَاحِدٍ صَلَاةَ اللَّيْلِ وَ النَّهَارِ كُلَّهَا قَالَ نَعَمْ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ قُلْتُ فَيُصَلِّي بِتَيَمُّمٍ وَاحِدٍ صَلَاةَ اللَّيْلِ وَ النَّهَارِ كُلَّهَا قَالَ نَعَمْ مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ أَوْ يُصِبْ مَاءً قُلْتُ فَإِنْ أَصَابَ الْمَاءَ وَ رَجَا أَنْ يَقْدِرَ عَلَى مَاءٍ آخَرَ وَ ظَنَّ أَنَّهُ يَقْدِرُ عَلَيْهِ كُلَّمَا أَرَادَ فَعَسُرَ ذَلِكَ عَلَيْهِ قَالَ يَنْقُضُ ذَلِكَ تَيَمُّمَهُ وَ عَلَيْهِ أَنْ يُعِيدَ التَّيَمُّمَ قُلْتُ فَإِنْ أَصَابَ الْمَاءَ وَ قَدْ دَخَلَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ قَالَ فَلْيَنْصَرِفْ وَ لْيَتَوَضَّأْ مَا لَمْ يَرْكَعْ فَإِنْ كَانَ قَدْ رَكَعَ فَلْيَمْضِ فِي صَلَاتِهِ فَإِنَّ التَّيَمُّمَ أَحَدُ الطَّهُورَيْنِ .
Translation
Muhammad Bin Ismail, from Al Fazl Bin Shazaan, and Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, Altogether from Hammad Bin Isa, from Hareyz, from Zurara who said, ‘I said to Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup>, ‘The man prays <span class="iTxt">Salaat</span> with one Ablution <span class="iTxt">(Wudhu)</span>, the night <span class="iTxt">Salaat</span>s and the day <span class="iTxt">Salaat</span>s, all of them’. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Yes, for as long as an event does not occur (breaking his Ablution <span class="iTxt">(Wudhu)</span>)’. I said, ‘Supposing he prays <span class="iTxt">Salaat</span>s with one <span class="iTxt">Tayammum</span>, the night <span class="iTxt">Salaat</span>s and the day <span class="iTxt">Salaat</span>s, all of them?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Yes, for as long as an event does not occur (breaking his <span class="iTxt">Tayammum</span>), or he finds water’. I said, ‘Supposing he does find the water and hopes that he would be able upon finding another water, and if he thinks that he would be able upon it every time, but that is difficult upon him?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘That would break his <span class="iTxt">Tayammum</span>, and upon him that he repeats the <span class="iTxt">Tayammum</span>’. I said, ‘Supposing if he finds the water and already entered into the <span class="iTxt">Salaat</span>?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘So let him leave it for as long as he has not performed a bowing. So if it was so that he had performed a bowing, so let him continue in his <span class="iTxt">Salaat</span>, for the <span class="iTxt">Tayammum</span> is one of the two purifiers’.
