سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) عَنِ الرَّجُلِ لَا يَجِدُ الْمَاءَ فَيَتَيَمَّمُ وَ يُقِيمُ فِي الصَّلَاةِ فَجَاءَ الْغُلَامُ فَقَالَ هُوَ ذَا الْمَاءُ فَقَالَ إِنْ كَانَ لَمْ يَرْكَعْ فَلْيَنْصَرِفْ وَ لْيَتَوَضَّأْ وَ إِنْ كَانَ قَدْ رَكَعَ فَلْيَمْضِ فِي صَلَاتِهِ .
Translation
Al Husayn Bin Muhammad, from Moalla Bin Muhammad, from Al Washa, from Aban Bin Usman, from Abdullah Bin Aasim who said, ‘I asked Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> about the man not finding the water, so he performs <span class="iTxt">Tayammum</span> and stands regarding his <span class="iTxt">Salaat</span>. So the boy (servant) comes over and says, ‘Here is the water’’. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘If he had not performed a bowing, so let him leave, and let him perform Ablution <span class="iTxt">(Wudhu)</span>; and if it was so that he had already performed a bowing, so let him continue in his <span class="iTxt">Salaat</span>’.
