سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الْجَارِيَةِ الْبِكْرِ أَوَّلَ مَا تَحِيضُ فَتَقْعُدُ فِي الشَّهْرِ فِي يَوْمَيْنِ وَ فِي الشَّهْرِ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ وَ يَخْتَلِفُ عَلَيْهَا لَا يَكُونُ طَمْثُهَا فِي الشَّهْرِ عِدَّةَ أَيَّامٍ سَوَاءً قَالَ فَلَهَا أَنْ تَجْلِسَ وَ تَدَعَ الصَّلَاةَ مَا دَامَتْ تَرَى الدَّمَ مَا لَمْ تَجُزِ الْعَشَرَةَ فَإِذَا اتَّفَقَ الشَّهْرَانِ عِدَّةَ أَيَّامٍ سَوَاءً فَتِلْكَ أَيَّامُهَا .

محمد بن یحییٰ نے احمد بن محمد سے، انہوں نے عثمان بن عیسیٰ سے، انہوں نے سماعہ بن مہران سے روایت کی، انہوں نے کہا: میں نے آپ سے باکرہ لڑکی کے بارے میں پوچھا جسے پہلی مرتبہ حیض آتا ہے، کہ وہ ایک مہینے میں دو دن بیٹھتی ہے اور دوسرے مہینے میں تین دن، اور اس پر مختلف ہوتا ہے — مہینے میں اس کا حیض مساوی دنوں پر نہیں ہوتا۔ آپ نے فرمایا: اس کے لیے یہ ہے کہ وہ بیٹھی رہے اور نماز چھوڑ دے جب تک خون دیکھے، بشرطیکہ دس دن سے تجاوز نہ کرے۔ پس جب دو مہینے مساوی دنوں پر متفق ہو جائیں تو وہی اس کے دن ہیں۔
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Usman Bin Isa, from Sama’at Bin Mihran who said, ‘I asked him<sup>asws</sup> about the virgin girl menstruating the first time, so she sits (menstruating) during the month for two days, and during (another) month, for three days, and it is different upon her, her menstruating not occurring upon her during the month with the same number of days. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘For her is that she sits (awaiting) and leaves the <span class="iTxt">Salaat</span> for as long as she sees the blood, as long as she does not exceed the ten (days). So when the two months coincide with the number of days as being the same, so those are her (regular) days’.
