الْمَحِيضِ بِاللَّيْلِ وَ يَقُولُ إِنَّهَا قَدْ تَكُونُ الصُّفْرَةَ وَ الْكُدْرَةَ .

وہ عورتوں کو منع کرتے تھے کہ رات کے وقت حیض کے بارے میں اپنا جائزہ لیں، اور فرماتے تھے: 'بے شک یہ زردی یا دھندلاپن ہو سکتا ہے۔'
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Sa’alba, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having forbidden the women that they should be examining themselves regarding the menstruation (<span class="iTxt">Haydh</span>) at night, and he<sup>asws</sup> was saying: ‘It can happen to be the yellowness or some kind of dirt’.
