سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الْحَائِضِ تُنَاوِلُ الرَّجُلَ الْمَاءَ فَقَالَ قَدْ كَانَ بَعْضُ نِسَاءِ النَّبِيِّ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) تَسْكُبُ عَلَيْهِ الْمَاءَ وَ هِيَ حَائِضٌ وَ تُنَاوِلُهُ الْخُمْرَةَ .
Translation
Muhammad Bin Ismail, from Al Fazl Bin Shazaan, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Muawiya Bin Ammar, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, said, ‘I asked him<sup>asws</sup> about the menstruating woman fetching the water for the man’. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘It was so that some of the wives of the Prophet<sup>saww</sup> would pour the water for him<sup>saww</sup>, and she would be menstruating, and she would fetch the prayer-mat for him<sup>saww</sup>’.
