كَانَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام ) يَقُولُ مَنْ مَاتَ دُونَ الْأَرْبَعِينَ فَقَدِ اخْتُرِمَ وَ مَنْ مَاتَ دُونَ أَرْبَعَةَ عَشَرَ يَوْماً فَمَوْتُهُ مَوْتُ فَجْأَةٍ .

محمد بن یحیٰی نے موسیٰ بن الحسن سے، انہوں نے ابو الحسن النہدی سے روایت کی جنہوں نے حدیث کو مرفوع کیا، کہا: ابو جعفر علیہ السلام فرمایا کرتے تھے: 'جو کوئی چالیس سال سے پہلے مرے تو اس کی زندگی کٹ گئی؛ اور جو کوئی بیماری کے چودہ دن سے کم میں مر جائے تو اس کی موت اچانک موت ہے۔'
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Musa Bin Al Hassan, from Abu Al Hassan Al Nahdy, raising the Hadeeth, said, ‘Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> was saying: ‘The one who dies below (the age of) forty, so (his life is) cut (short); and the one who dies in less than fourteen days (of illness), so his death is sudden’.
