لَوْ بَقِيَ اثْنَانِ لَكَانَ أَحَدُهُمَا الْحُجَّةَ عَلَى صَاحِبِهِ . مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى مِثْلَهُ .

احمد بن ادریس اور محمد بن یحیی نے مل کر احمد بن محمد سے، انہوں نے محمد بن عیسیٰ بن عبید سے، انہوں نے محمد بن سنان سے، انہوں نے حمزہ بن الطیار سے، انہوں نے ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت کی کہ آپ نے فرمایا: اگر (زمین پر) صرف دو لوگ باقی رہ جائیں تو ان دونوں میں سے ایک دوسرے پر حجت ہوگا۔ محمد بن الحسن نے سہل بن زیاد سے، انہوں نے محمد بن عیسیٰ سے اسی کی مانند روایت کی۔
Translation
Ahmad Bin Idrees and Muhammad Bin Yahya altogether, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Muhammad Bin Isa Bin Ubeyd, from Muhammad Bin Sinan, from Hamza Bin Al Tayyar, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘If two remain, it would be so that one of the two would be the Divine Authority upon his companion’. <span style="font-size: small">Muhammad Bin Al Hassan, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Muhammad Bin Isa</span> – similar to it.
