سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ لَوْ لَمْ يَكُنْ فِي الْأَرْضِ إِلَّا اثْنَانِ لَكَانَ الْإِمَامُ أَحَدَهُمَا .

احمد بن محمد نے محمد بن الحسن سے، انہوں نے النہدی سے، انہوں نے اپنے والد سے، انہوں نے یونس بن یعقوب سے، انہوں نے ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت کی کہ آپ نے فرمایا: میں نے انہیں یہ فرماتے سنا: اگر زمین پر صرف دو آدمی رہ جائیں تو ان میں سے ایک امام ہوگا۔
Translation
Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Muhammad Bin Al Hassan, from Al Nahdy, from his father, from Yunus Bin Yaqoub, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, said, ‘I heard him<sup>asws</sup> saying: ‘If it was so that there do not happen to be in the earth except for two, it would be so that the Imam<sup>asws</sup> would be one of the two’.
