قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) لَا يَزَالُ الشَّيْطَانُ ذَعِراً مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِ مَا حَافَظَ عَلَى الصَّلَوَاتِ الْخَمْسِ فَإِذَا ضَيَّعَهُنَّ تَجَرَّأَ عَلَيْهِ فَأَدْخَلَهُ فِي الْعَظَائِم.

علی بن محمد نے سہل بن زیاد سے، انہوں نے نوفلی سے، انہوں نے سکونی سے، انہوں نے ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت کی کہ آپ نے فرمایا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ نے فرمایا: شیطان مومن سے ڈرتا رہتا ہے جب تک وہ پانچ نمازوں کی پابندی کرے۔ جب وہ انہیں ضائع کر دے تو شیطان اس پر جری ہو جاتا ہے اور اسے کبائر گناہوں میں داخل کر دیتا ہے۔
Translation
Ali Bin Muhammad, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Al Nowfaly, from Al Sakuny, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> that Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> said: ‘The Satan<sup>la</sup> does not cease to be alarmed from the Believer who has preserved upon the five (daily) <span class="iTxt">Salāt</span>. So when he wastes them, he<sup>la</sup> is audacious upon him, and he<sup>la</sup> enters him into the major sins’.
